Dues Reminder: It's probably time to remind everyone of upcoming dues for the 2011 year. Sending a check to P.O. box 1543 is the surest way to "Get 'er dun" It's sometimes difficult to sort out who all gave me cash during a busy meeting, so I appreciate checks whenever possible. $35 for regular members, $45 for family (Spouse, minor children) members. March 1 is the no-penalty deadline and April 1 is the automatic drop from membership.

Club Stuff: The Club's rod wrapper is with Wayne McLemore for the time being. The wrapper is available for any member who wants to borrow it.

Awards for best articles and photos 2012: The board has agreed to handing out awards for best articles and photos of the year. This competition will start as of January 1, 2012.
1. There will be three classifications for best articles. The first will be the best report on any outings during the year, the second will be memories of fishing, and the third will be any article of interest to the club such as fly tying.
2. There will be three classifications for best photo. The first will be the best photo fish and fishing, the second will be the best photo of any gatherings at outings, and the third will be the best photo of either flies, insects, or nature.
3. Photo resolution is not required...you don’t need an expensive camera. However, the photo has to be taken during 2012. The pictures and articles will be displayed at the November meeting and will be voted on by the membership and the winners will be awarded prizes at the January 2013 meeting.
